Binx,

You actually got a response to an e-mail. I am impressed. At this point I think there is about a 60% to 70% chance of getting a reply. I have e-mailed SanDisk regarding private labelling (who the OEM's are that are using SanDisk preferentially). I know that Casio, Nikon, Kodak (to some extent) and now Konica (per Bruno) are using SanDisk products. I received no reply to my inquiry.

I am also planning to write a letter to help clarify the write speed issue as Lexar is really playing off the differences. Hope that other thread members may also be inclined to rub some salt into this wound.

FYI, Sandisk (Sundisk) is mentioned in Clayton M. Christensen's The Innovator's Dilemma, When New Technologies Cause Great Firms to Fail (pages 50,53).

Does anyone here know what media Creative Technologies will use for their "Project Nomad" MP3 player?
