Dan,

<< I assume you meant that you do not want your daughters
to live Godly lives?>>

LOL, that is like asking, "do you still beat your wife?" We have a different definition of what is Godly.

<< As a follower of Christ, I see no "secondary" in anything
that was said. >>

Without going back and repasting what I alrady pasted:-), it clearly spells out that a women is to be secondary to a man, to be subserviant and compliant. It calls her the weaker sex, to be fully submisive and compliant.

Dan, there are many women who are smarter, more moral, more religious,
and harder working than their husbands. There are many women who would do a much better job of being the head of a household than the man would. Should the family suffer because God only wants the man to be the head? One of those passages says that even if the women is more Godly, she should be compliant in order to turn the husband around by her actions.

I have read the passages, tell me your opinion why a man should be the head of a household in ALL circumnstances. (just because, is not a good answer) :-)

Can you imagine Margaret Thatcher being subserviant and compliant? I amsure that England is very happy that she was took a back seat to no one.....

I am sure that we are all glad that Rosa Parks decided to stand up and not take a back seat to the men who told her to move.

there are women everywhere who have lead happier and more fullfilling lives because they stood up for themselves and their rights.

There are many women who accomplished great and historical deeds, because they refused to be subserviant. If they were subserviant, no one would have ever heard of Joan of Arc, Harriet Tubbman, Jane Addams, and numerous others.
