I did not mean to imply that I was striking them with a broad brush, that's why I specifically said the average broker.

I think the people that you speak of are there but few and far between. I'm quite certain the high end brokers have more skills. I would think that in the average house that P&F is used more by people that are not on the retail end, that's all.

That's what I think Don was driving at, the average retail broker who is perhaps one notch up the ladder above the cold caller.

Tom,

My issue was that most of the brokers I deal with have very little abiity, and are mainly sales people.

You mention one of those firms which have yr P&F charts on every brokers desk, and I can confirm that is correct since one of the brokers I know deal with one of those firms which I wont mention. But guess what - he doesnt have a clue how to use it. He tried it once about 6 months ago and since then has given up, and he is a VP at that office.

Hey it could simply be that all the brokers I know are just simply NUCKLEBRAINs, but honestly I just dont have alot of respect for most brokers since I believe that they were hired for their communication skills to be good salespeople first. Hey, I would be a lousey broker, but not because I dont understand the market.
