If AL turns down $17 without another counter off that he had solicited from another suitor, I look for Phillips to turn this thing into an outright hostile takeover by going public with a tender at $17. I don't believe the institutions will let their big quick profits go just because Al doesn't feel like it. And all the stocks that's in the hands of the arbs. now will vote with the money as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Al had been on the phone 25 hrs a day with Phillips, LSI and TI the last 3 days. My guess is it will be between TI and Phillips. IMO, LSI makes the best fit, but the other two have the deep pockets. patrick
