Very interesting news, VMan. I wonder why SkyMexico wouldn't move to Satmex V rather than the much older, lower power Sol2?

Could it be because Satmex V is also an HS601? Loral, SatMex and Orion could all suffer if this HS601 problem is so endemic.

Valueman: Interesting news on SatMex. Any thoughts as to what Grupo Televisa will do in the upcoming negotiations of their contracts with SatMex and PanAmSat? Televisa once owned a good chunk (40% I think) of PanAmSat (now mostly owned by Hughes) but sold their last position last summer. So they have no allegiance to SPOT/GMH the way they once might have. Televisa reports Q4 tonight with conference call tomorrow morning. Maybe we'll hear something, especially in light of the PanAmSat CEO resignation today as you report. Thanks.
