Paul Engle: No kidding! There seems to be an unusual amount of irrational hysteria right now about the amd v intc matter. The negative spin put on intc right now by cnbc is incredible. Most of what cnbc had to say today about intc was old news. Has everyone forgotten the fact that intc dropped prices on its celeron chip in february? Has it occurred to any of these neanderthals that the price cuts by intc may just increase its market share in the sub 1000 segment and make amd's january results a onehit wonder? Do these people actually believe that consumers will stay with amd if its price advantage evaporates after intc price cuts take hold?? Absolutely amazing!!
