I don't think analysts had Sony in the equation. It's not going to matter much for 2000 numbers as they'll only account for 2-3% but what is more valuable is the way Rambus is spreading and conquring entire industries. They pretty much have a monopoly coming in PC's and now video-games. They're working on Networking (TI has signed), TV's (Matsushita/Panasonic)and I bet they're working on SUN, Motorola, Cisco, Lucent.....

We all now the effect when you capture entire markets - just take a look at Microsoft and Intel (who both happen to endorse Rambus)

Eldelstone has already broke this, so it is not "new" news, it is now "official" news...As far as EPS revisions, it might be a bit early, but perhaps not. Again, '00 for US intro is a long way off. Great news, no doubt!!
