It also means you're going to have to pay your taxes on the deal. And when ALA shares get bid up due to their wise move, you won't benefit.

Your brokerage company will send you papers in the mail once everything has been approved by SEC in which you will tender your shares at $37 minus a handling charge which I believe is $25. That is how it worked for AMTX a few years back.
