I'm long most of the stocks that you listed. Unfortunately I think there's too much negative sentiment out there that clings to bad news these days and the 3COM news is one more thing to cling to for a while.

When things get me down I usually go to Yahoo and get a 5 yr chart. I then remind myself that the little downward bumps and ridges were no different than what's going on now. Try it, it feels good!

Take a look at the nice pops after the splits too. We are due one next month!

There are a lot of people with money on the sidelines trying to call the bottom of this techwreck. I think it'll turn around fast like all the other tech wrecks in the past. And then you'll see a bunch of people thanking Paul for helping them "keep their heads straight when the chips were down". I should know, I've thanked him a few times in the past, myself.

Shahen.

To tech2000: This news will definitely send these
stocks lower on Wednesday. This news is reconfirming
the fears about a possible slow down in the PC market.
However this type of news is seasonal, the 1st and
2nd quarters are always the weakest for the tech
stocks. I'll be dollar cost averaging down on Dell
in the morning. Good Luck and may the great trades
be yours!!!

Take a look at Cramers latest in TSC. Looks like even he is throwing in the towel and seems to be saying that its all over for techs for the moment. Refers to huge slowdown in the economy and says he's in to capital preservation and wants to buy bonds!!!!

Why should everyone keep reading the street if all anyone is going to do is buy bonds?

Who am I to argue with Cramer. He hears stuff from all over the place and there are now 'rumours' about Intels current earnings.

In this market even if Intel was doing very well it would till have a difficult time swimming agaist the tide so how much more so if it turns out to be true that there are slowdowns and

DELL, CPQ, COMS after this little threesome you have to be a total lunatic not to be cautious whenever a serious analyst or two comes out with a downgrade in a tech stock today.

Ssdly,
