Wal-Mart has the same problem Barnes& Noble has. They have to feed the beast, their brick-and-mortar business. It's like a railroad going into the airline business. They can't afford to lower ticket prices to squeeze competition...plus Wal-Mart is too big not to have the DOJ in their face. Lastly, Wal-Mart isn't cool; being cool is critical.

>>If you can make a quick killing by riding with the Herd more power to ya, but to justify 20+ Billion market cap for this cash burning dog is either dishonesty, self delusion or stupidity.

Over the top.

Well, the cash burning dog is starting out well today, +5! Seriously, anyone who really believes, and this remark is made often, that AMZN is just going to run out of money and stop, needs to step back and take a deep breathe, and either walk away or reconsider this position. AMZN MAY NOT make it! But, it would be a long drawn out death. Pick up any business magazine, or newspaper business section. Note how 75% of the stories are about the internet in one fashion or another (not a computer magazine, a business magazine)! Everybody, and I mean everybody, is trying to figure out how to exploit this medium for their best use. And they will invest, invest, invest, and AMZN is already two years into this.

They will come to AMZN.

Cheers,
Tom
