Sony and Sega Update: Today's New York Times had an article about Sony's introduction yesterday of "Playstation II," which will be sold in the US in fall 2000. It will be capable of producing "Toy Story"-caliber 3-D characters and will be more powerful than today's PC's and graphics work stations. One paragraph of the article mentions Sega's new machine, Dreamcast, which will be sold in the US in the fall of this year. It will feature a 128-bit processor and be capable of connecting to the Internet.

Anybody see any synergies with PCTR? <g>
