Perceptronics and Shout Interactive Demonstrate
InterGame Collaborative 3D for the Internet

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Perceptronics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PCTR - news) today
announced that the Company together with Shout Interactive, Inc. has successfully installed an operational demonstration of its
InterGame™ platform for Internet Collaborative 3D. The demonstration effectively showcases the key InterGame features by
means of a leading-edge 3D virtual rowing simulation.

The innovative demonstration is called ''Head of the River Challenge,'' and involves a simulated rowing race between two
2-man shells over a river course. The rowers, shells and racecourse, including lanes, scenery and onlookers, are shown in
detailed, realistic 3D. Each player controls one ''rower avatar'' from his own computer, connected at present via a local area
network. He uses a single computer key to command his rower's power strokes and return strokes, and views his team's
actions along with the opponents' in 3D perspective. The two players ''rowing'' together in a shell must coordinate their
individual strokes in terms of timing and power to move the shell forward straight and fast. There is a good amount of skill
involved, and an auxiliary dynamic stroke display helps the players learn the proper teamwork. Eventually, the players will be
able to access the game from any Internet-connected site; for example, one rower might be in Los Angeles and the other in
New York.

Dr. Gershon Weltman, Perceptronics' chairman and chief executive officer, said, '''Head of the River Challenge' is a highly
entertaining game. Its main importance, however, is that it effectively demonstrates the benefits that Perceptronics' InterGame
platform can bring to Collaborative 3D on the Internet. These benefits cover several application areas, of which entertainment is
only one.

''First and foremost, the game shows that even at this early stage, Internet developers such as Shout Interactive can use the
InterGame framework to create terrific online 3D applications. Second, the game shows that InterGame can produce a truly
collaborative shared virtual experience -- the direct 'physical' interaction between participants' avatars that takes place in our
virtual 2-man shells has rarely, if ever, been achieved in real-time, networked applications. Third, the game shows that
compelling Collaborative 3D effects can be achieved with InterGame using currently-available Internet open standards --
including Java, VRML 2.0 and Living Worlds -- and within a standard Web browser. Finally, the game is designed using the
InterGame architecture, which is based on DoD's High Level Architecture (HLA) and Run Time Infrastructure (RTI), and
which can scale up to many additional users, extend to other game features, and inter-operate among different computers.

''The Internet is rapidly becoming a 3D medium,'' Dr. Weltman continued, ''and the most effective use of 3D is Collaborative
3D, which offers significant improvements to business communication, e-commerce and education and training, as well as to
games and entertainment. In a few years, over 50 million users will have 3D-capable computers. Perceptronics' objective is to
be the leading supplier of Collaborative 3D solutions to this large and rapidly emerging market.

''Our current InterGame development and commercialization work is funded by a combination of STRICOM SBIR Phase II
contract, State of California CalTIPP grant, and private and Company investment. We will need additional funding to
accomplish our ultimate goal. Such funding is not assured, but our progress on the demonstration is certainly a positive step. At
this point, we plan to refine and extend further the current 'local' proof-of-concept demonstration, create a 'distance' version
that will be accessible on the Internet to potential customers, and provide the enabling InterGame technology as immediately
usable products for the 3D Web site developer market.

''At the same time, we plan to explore together with Shout Interactive the commercial possibilities of the 'Head of the River
Challenge' as an Internet online game, which we both believe are very promising,'' Dr. Weltman added.

Eric Anschutz and Jim Stewartson, partners at Shout Interactive, said, ''The 'Head of the River Challenge' demonstration
effectively represents the first 3D sporting simulation on the Web that allows users to share their experience with one another.
We believe 'Head of the River Challenge' will quickly be recognized as the premier example of Collaborative 3D Computing on
the Web today. We also believe that with a reasonable amount of additional development, it can succeed as a multi-player,
online game. As shown by a recent series of successful 3D projects, applications such as this are creating an altogether new
class of Web online content that will make possible new sources of revenue for technology providers, developers and
publishers.''

SOURCE: Perceptronics, Inc.Perceptronics and Skyline Software Join Forces For
Internet Collaborative 3D Terrain Products

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Perceptronics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PCTR - news) today
announced that it will work together with Skyline Software Systems, Ltd., the leading supplier of 3D terrain visualization
software for PC computers. The companies plan to explore ways to add important new capabilities for multi-person, online
planning and collaboration over the Internet to Skyline's Terra™ terrain visualization products by combining them with
Perceptronics' InterGame™ collaborative 3D framework.

Skyline's Terra program suite creates realistic 3D terrain visualizations by overlaying aerial or satellite imagery on 3D terrain
models. The Terra rendering engine creates 3D visualizations in real time on typical PC platforms. The result is affordable
real-time terrain visualization at a totally new level, providing close-up views with remarkable clarity and long-range views to
the horizon, and allowing the viewer to ''fly'' freely over large terrain areas. Terra also supports a full spectrum of life-like
weather effects, and the addition of other 3D objects such as vehicles and buildings, labels, etc.

At present, however, the Terra product line is oriented primarily toward the individual user, rather than toward multiple users at
remote locations sharing the same terrain visualization for the purpose of joint observation, discussion, analysis, course of action
planning, and so forth. It is clear that a capability for collaboration would enhance the utility of this outstanding visualization
product as a decision making tool, because in today's corporate (and military) world, the decision makers are frequently miles
or even continents away.

Perceptronics' InterGame™ framework for Collaborative 3D on the Internet is well suited to provide this capability using the
readily available and fully compatible Web medium. Perceptronics' InterGame software tools and protocols are designed to
bring the many benefits of DoD's High Level Architecture (HLA) and Run Time Infrastructure (RTI), in combination with
existing Internet open standards such as Java, VRML and Living Worlds, to the rapidly growing market for Collaborative 3D.
Collaborative 3D applications on the Internet are emerging as a primary vehicle for realizing the full potential of 3D visualization.
Perceptronics is addressing this opportunity by adapting its proprietary InterGame platform to capitalize on enabling
technologies already in use by tens of millions of end-users.

Dr. Gershon Weltman, Perceptronics' chairman and chief executive officer, said, ''This alliance represents our first application
of the InterGame framework to 3D-based communications and decision support, the market area we believe will be the largest
in the long run. We are very pleased by the opportunity to combine our InterGame technology with the Terra terrain
visualization software. Skyline Software Systems, located in Israel, has created an outstanding product. InterGame can enhance
this product by providing users with the ability to conduct 'meetings in the sky' and to interact collectively with the terrain and its
added objects while maintaining the advantage of an individual viewing point. Collaborative 3D terrain visualization will be even
better than being there!''

''On the basis of our extensive experience with virtual reality simulation and training, we believe that affordable and readily
available collaborative 3D terrain visualization and communication solutions will find immediate acceptance in business, military,
and civil applications. The military in particular is seeking new methodology for what it terms 'Battlefield Visualization (BV)' by
dispersed command groups. The Terra/InterGame combination of realistic 3D terrain representation with networked planning
and collaboration functions can fill many BV requirements at a remarkably low cost, and the same system can be used for
training and simulation as well as operations. Similar requirements for collaborative terrain visualization and dispersed command
exist in civil emergency and disaster planning and control, and this should also constitute a prime market for an affordable
product, due to the limited budgets available.

''All in all, we are very enthusiastic about the possibilities of the Perceptronics-Skyline team effort,'' Dr. Weltman concluded.
''The two companies are still in the early stages of discussion, and have not yet established a firm product development plan or
schedule, but we hope this will be done soon.''
