When we first moved into our house, the mom of the kid across the street said if it was ever a problem just tell her and she'd put a stop to it. Apparently, the neighbor who sent the letter has approached the parents with no luck, as her letter states that.

As I told Coby, the kids for the most part are good kids who just want to have some fun. The kid across the street has visions of being a dirt bike racer and he spends an incredible amount of time and effort working on and riding his bike.

The problem we're going to have is that the lot owner lives in another part of town and probably only thinks about this property when she has to pay taxes on it. The lot is the least attractive for building in the entire subdivision as it is kind of odd shaped and is tucked away at the end of a dead end street.

We'll find out quickly what will happen, since there is a homeowner's assoc. board meeting next week and this is on the agenda.
