<Do they need driver's licenses to ride dirt bikes on private property?>

They probably don't, but my guess is they need licenses to ride their bikes on the public street to get to the private property.

Of course, we'd prefer to keep the authorities out of this. We're not talking about bad kids; they just feel that since their parents said it was OK for them to do this and the property owner hasn't said don't do it, they're not doing anything wrong.

The funny thing is, my wife were talking about this on Sunday, with my major concerns being the property owner's and/or homeowner's association's liability if someone were to get hurt and the fact that the kids are tearing up the lot and it looks like hell, which could make my property worth less because of the eyesore next door. Then we get this letter on Tuesday.

I'm afraid the kids will just start riding on the street, which then creates a safety problem for all of us.
