So about those preffered shares brainchild???

So those posts don't exist.

Just as I thought. All hype, no substance.

But thanks for the diatribe.

Whoa guys, he said, to no-one in particular - everybody has a different take on these things. There has been a lot of information available on the www.cabec.com web site for quite a while, but if someone asks a fair question of MJ, they might feel entitled to answer, since he does post.

Probably 99% of BB stocks go nowhere, so we might all bear in mind this is a high risk area!

Do any of you look at Smart Money magazine - they have a pro's and con's segment on a different stock every month. Big stuff, like Procter & Gamble. One guy is a bull, and raves about it. The other is a bear and trashes it. Bit like us here on CBNR. And the truth is, everyone is right until the market proves them wrong, and it often does.

I first bought CBNR because I did well with a small oil firm called Gerrity (since a goner, I believe!). I was looking for another oil company, small, in a niche, and I came across the pretty pictures of the Cooper rigs. Hooked like a fish I was, and bought CBNR at 5/8's. In retrospect, not a stunning play! Some of you bought for other reasons & paid a lot more, but I am still in the hole on those big time.

I have bought more and considerably cheaper shares since, because of MJ and the pallet play. Only the market will prove me right or wrong. And believe me, I am not always sure which way its going to go!

mswood - I understand your frustrations. Afraid I can't do anything about them. I did go to Dallas though, I met MJ and I approached the whole operation as a sceptic. All I can say is I haven't sold a share. That's not to say I'm raving gung-ho (you are right of course, pallets are a tough business, and there is competition), but I saw enough to keep me in. He is an entrepreneur, and I trust him to do his best. That's not to say his product will succeed.

I'm not expecting too much of the 98 financials - my guess is they will wrap up the Curton era, and clear the books for regular reporting. I guess the first '99 10Q will be due soon, and that is what I want to see more.

The above my own opinion only.
