Good points! The thrust of your arguments are that ZIP has established it's brand name, and has a large enough installed base such that consumers will demand the ZIP in their computers. This argument is valid, as long as PC vendors can absorb ZIP's cost. Not sure if this will occur. (Remember, we are discussing 'standard' here. Obviously, PC vendors can eat the cost by offering ZIP as a value added option. The current model..) Bye! I'm going to enjoy the rest of the day... kp
