Jay,

I can't.. I'm not surprised, since I indicated in my last post they
might tank it and run it up on a short squeeze.. but I expected about
half of the final run.. I sat there and couldn't pull the trigger..
so no harm.. no foul.. My primary indicators were oversold down here
but with the sloppy action all day, I guess it sucked in a lot of shorts and they had to pay for their indiscretion.

But I think GZ should share with us what he trades off of to pickem
off at 18. (gg).. Thats the best shot I've seen in a long time..

I'm not sure with this action it is the start of a moon shot though.

Maybe a little carry over in the morning.. and then sell off prior to
the NEWS on Friday..

Good luck all

It really does not take much to get an index up. Most stocks are in technical oversold territory and specifically Intel and Dell. Late buying sent NDX up and the other indices just followed.

Must have been a program buy in the last 1/2 hour.
Just another perspective.

My guess is that the indexes were right at the brink of total collapse, yet still at major support. It looked like yet another successful test of that support. Who knows how many times that support level can take continuous attacks without finally surrendering, but for the meantime.....

The bonds may indeed be at or near a turning point and the equities may sense that..... also, many stocks are way overdone on the down side, sort of like an internal rotation of different groups. We may still break down or, if this is a sideways correction, these indexes may rocket skyward... I think the jury is nearing a verdict pretty soon.....

Everyone is expecting a correction, that's the prevailing market gossip, so the surprise can be a rally... this is what I'm betting on... but my stops are nearby.....<g>
