Exactly. That's has been the "credo" for retailers for decades.
Well, don't worry OnSale will get the message. I am meeting with several Sr. executives on regular business issues over the next few weeks.
In the meantime I will be checking to see what is going on in the atCost effort, regarding Public relations/Customer service.
OnSale can afford not to sell any atCost items. They cannot afford to lose "atAuction customers or potential customers.
I personally, don't believe in the auction concept for my own purchases. I don't have time for the game, and want fairly instant gratification.
I will make an assumption, based on your e-mail address, that you live in Montana, which means you don't have the luxury of a Fry's Electronics, CompUSA, MicroCenter, beating each other into the ground for the computer or printer dollars.
I, fortunately live in the San Francisco area (would actually prefer Montana) but I can get the various computer products, between Internet and sales at retail, many times below the manuafcturer's cost, with alittle shopping.
I am sure you are versed in the various shopping sites if you are using that quantity of merchandise., so I cannot recommend anything specific.
Best Buy does post their "weekly ads on their website, and those are usually loss leaders.
Otherwise, it's shop-around, and who you are satisfied with.
I would say 80% of the OnLine retailers of computer products will currently beat atCost's prices due to the Tech Data margins.
try EggHead, though. They are buying direct and are hungry and aggressive.
Good Luck. Enjoyed the experience with you. Now I have to go check TUT Systems.

BUY SIGNAL ONSL: 32 1/2

Technicals show a strong buy signal.

Strong support at 200 day EMA. Customer service or not, the MACD and Williams%R imply imminent rise to high 30's to 40's+.

Lets just say I wd not wish to be caught short here.

BTY these indicators have been almost always correct in the past.
