If you calculate the EPS based on annualizing the last quarter's earnings, you will get around 35. This is high for a company like IDT.

I understand that they have an isp business & ip based phone software. This in my book is not an internet presence in any large since.

I don't think spinning off their ip phone business will bring in much money. IP telephone is just not seen as big today. Vocaltec & Netspeak brought in big $ on their IPOs. Today they wouldn't. It is a crowded field already and the big players (AT&T category) will own this when they want to. The money that IDT brings in for net2phone is miniscule and is valued by investors accordingly. I don't see it having much more value as a separate entity.

strx has fallen off the board as far as growth when compared to
idtc or pgex.

biz.yahoo.com

idtc and pgex have shows they continue to grow, as the market demand has grown and strx is the odd company out.

Beg to differ IDT's internet division posted sales of $4.3mm for the quarter down 17% from a year ago.Revenues for their internet telephony
division N2Phone was only $7.2mm.Idt is trying somehow and I haven't found out how,to get a valuation much higher than current ratios of price to sales on the internet and Net2phone divisions. What it will be
is a great secret that can only be speculated upon.
IDT is a telecommunications carrier. Their telecommunication operations for the quarter were $149.2mm up 137% yr/yz,of total $160mm. They also sold wholesale $54.8mm of that amount to carriers.IDT's bread and butter is buying, renting, selling, long distance telephone, voice, data on ip, on their proprietary wires and switches to domestic and international destinations.
