RMAG is a Boca Raton Nasdaq stock. .very thinly traded POS, IMO. But it may get some serious movement today strictly on the "stupid factor" . . .those mistakening it for a real company may buy today's press release: BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 1999--Registry Magic(R) (Nasdaq:RMAG) announced it has joined with AT&T (NYSE:T), Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU), and Motorola (NYSE:MOT) in the formation of the Voice eXtensible Markup Language Forum (VXML Forum) to make the resources of the World Wide Web accessible to anyone by speaking into a telephone. Now I am not saying that everything that comes out of Boca Raton, Florida is trash. I have met some nice people from there. But what I am saying is every STOCK that comes from there, is HIGHLY suspect and should be considered a scam. . . whether or not it appears to be and whether it ACTUALLY is or is not. And I don't care if it is a 20 cent BB, a 9 dollar Nasdaq or a 20 dollar NYSE. . . To me, EVERY stock that hails from Boca Raton, FL is a penny stock, is highly suspicious and should be considered a scam. Any REAL company would have moved out of there by now. . .same with Vancouver and same with La Jolla, CA. Denver has a half dozen NYSE and Nasdaq stocks worth owning. . .that's it [TCI Telecommunications happens to hail from Denver, but will soon be part of A.T. and T. leaving Denver to the dogs]. I realize these are sweeping generalizations. . but hey. . .it is MY money and I am certainly NOT going to allow crooks to steal it. Rande Is
