I think you are missing the point ...

CPQ is only head-to-head with DELL in only a portion (although a major one) of its business PCs ... no question that DELL's model is beautiful and advantageous here

BUT ... CPQ is now an IT FULL ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS PROVIDER

This is the KEY to opening ALL the corporate $$$ doors, this is the current future, this is BIG ... I wish DELL the best as CPQ puts it ALL together .... PCs, Internet, Services, Hardware, Innovations, Patents, ... TOTAL SOLUTIONS

SteveN: I'm not into DELL-bashing but "......when most PC makers have stumbled, Dell hasn't missed a beat. Revenue is climbing at a 50% clip" Growth is slowing. That's why they have sought to diversify.
