Nope, I don't understand... I guess I'll just have to accept your account of the way things are with these businesses...Isn't there a vice squad? Besides, you just conceded that the law is periodically enforced, therefore the argument is over: lax enforcement does not equal no enforcement...My point about speeding conceded that it could not be eliminated. I have been on the Turnpike or the Parkway many times, and gone the length without seeing any enforcement whatsoever. There are enough resources for SOME enforcement. Clearly a decision has been made to tolerate speeding up to a point. Similarly with prostitution...
