Thanks C, Haloin Ni, dave s and other traders
Having had a position through the spin of UPCOY I was of the opinion that the value of UPCOY would carry UIHIA further. Fortunatly weighing the varrious views expressed I decided to get out (at 52). My reason for expressing this is that it IS IMPOSSIBLE to be correct 100% of the time, however one can benifit greatly from a objective discussion of the varrious points of view.
Unfortunatly when the discussion reverts to a personal attack it discourages what we can all benifit from and that is a rational discussion of the different viewpoints.
That said it begs the question of where UIHIA and UPCOY goes from here. I recall that in UPCOY's S-1 mgmt stated that the operating result would deteriorate (yet generate positive cash from operations) into 99, with projections of income in 2000. As many times ipo's drift down and reach lows 6-9 months after the offer, how to we view yesterday's bounce? Is it too early to get in for a long position or will it drift lower in the comming months?
