Barb- There are reasonable bulls and reasonable bears. There are unreasonable bulls and unreasonable bears...My post was directed toward (what I thought was) an unreasonable comment (and unreasonable bear)...

The fact that a CEO is selling stock in his company may or may not mean things are wrong at that company. There are some very legitimate reasons why a CEO may sell his stock (diversification... a concept with which I think few of us would argue...Mr. Burke alternatively argues that Dellheads are suicidal idiots for overweighting their portfolios in one issue...yet, Mr. Dell, apparently, does not qualify for the same rights as the rest of us....I doubt any of the wealthy bears here place more than a limited % of their assets in one stock play.)

I have a problem with poster(s) who believe it (orderly sales of a small % of his portfolio sales) is 100% proof that something is wrong at Dell/"The end is near"...This is the s@$* slinging I am referring to here....

A reasonable bear would say that it (stock sale) could indicate some trouble, but it is not conclusive...

Barb, O.K., I am part of the bear gang, but obviously not in the inner circle. Explain how we convince the tech cos. to report lousy revenues and a down year in computer sales to perpetrate are devious game? <g> MB
