Or you have an agreement with another company not to release news until certain conditions are met and/or the other company approves the press release. There are many reasons for "quiet periods" and some of them are very positive.

To those who call the expected PR a "wish" I refer them to the horse's mouth: the PR which announced the symposium listed the 3pm slot for "significant announcements."

Read it and weep.

All the best,
M.

News Blackout is an SEC type of enforcement...they were very uptight about saying anything...I know this was not a shareholders meeting, in fact someone came up to me...marketing guy, I think Mr. Pery to inquire about my identity...I told him...and he said not to ask shareholder questions...
He was lucky I didn't because to get all these people....30 is a LAUGH! to this meeting, all the press before the meeting, and not really have even a PR release to put out TODAY is ludicrous...sorry.
I am certainly hopeful that they are IN FACT in serious negotiations, as I have money on the line.
They were lucky that I didn't get up at the end and BOO...right into the video tape.
30....AHAHHHHA
