Let the LEVL story be a lesson to all, when it comes to brokers, its worse than the blind leading the blind...commentary on CNBC , where they were baffled (as most investors) as to why would analysts, down grade a stock at the bottom, but upgrade it at the top, after it has already run up....In my opinion, as people out there become more "do it yourself" investors, all this manipulative effects will be reduce...The "Malphs" and others jokers will fall by the wayside.

George,
here is the other George's explanation(of sorts) on the recent bounce in crude.

I notice a lot of activity at the web site. I know the
futures price of crude oil has gone up. There is no
explanation, except speculation. However, if the
speculators manage to maintain the price at higher
levels for long enough, the futures price will drive
the spot market price, which will then be reflected in
higher crude oil prices across the board, at least for
a while. Since there is no substantial change in the
supply-demand picture, it is not likely that the price
will be sustained at high levels for very long. Even a
serious agreement by OPEC would take months to
implement.
