I have to wonder if part of the short interest is 'covered' by convertible preferred or bonds. I agree that there is a short side to the story, and I like hearing it. I just find it odd that we see more of the negative side at the near the lows. Just part of the manic-depressive nature of the market ? Maybe it's because we start looking for reasons for the stock to be down, and actually listen to the bears. A big part of the posted loss was a charge. I think they would have been .03 positive without it.
