I have at least 5 friends who have gotten or are waiting to get their Com21 modems. During the Christmas holiday, the ISP channel (they use Com21 modems) sent out a little "feeler" offering their cable modem service to all residents of Menlo Park, Atherton, and Palo Alto. They expected to get about 20 to 40 responses, they got about 2000, off by a factor of 100. Com21 modems had been on back order since January. When I get my new machine, I'll order my Com21 modem.
