George C; yes even my man Cramer can be WRONGO !

...actually; can you believe the Chutzpah ? - he even calls the ''OSX" - the "NOSX" - as in NO-OSX... - blasphemy <VBG> !

Actually; what peaks my curiosity is that Cramer is a ''trader'' and as a hedge fund trader - the OSX has had great trading opps up & down.

In all seriousness; I admire the guy - he puts it all out there on the line; he entertains, he educates and he wears it all on his sleeve. Some people hate the guy and his style; I guess they would rather watch/listen to those 3rd generation blue bloods in the bow ties who put you to sleep... I think even Cramer would admit that the Oil Sector is not an area of expertise for him. He often quotes others, and the ''Goddess'' his wife on their comments. No way anyone can know all sectors... I think he loves tech and knows it well and knows the S&L's and financials well. I read him daily @ theStreet.Com - a ''MUST'' read imho !

Allthough - when he does jump on - realize that it will probably be time for a nice solid run. He will be a ''Mo-Mo'' indicator for sure...

George; you seem cautiously optimistic here - and ''honestly'' so <VBG> no problem with that of late... It's those damn Bears in Bulls clothing that I'm after - the ''spin meisters'' !

JJC is a day trader. Those of us who aren't hunched over a Nasdaq Level II screen don't need to worry about the opinions of JJC. He'll join the party eventually, but he's obviously not into bottom fishing. He likes Stocks That Go Up, like AMZN. Unfortunately, some are discovering that Stocks That Go Up also Go Down, and don't bounce back to their old highs. AMZN 52 week high is $199, currently sells for $120.

AMZN went down today too (as did FLC).

Cramer's outlook is for short term traders...

Cramer is a very smart and entertaining writer, but he sure doesn't bat a 1000. He's had his share of bad calls, look at QCOM and IFMX which he has bad mouthed and whose shares have done very well. Also don't forget his call to get out of the market in October '98 (to his credit he quickly reversed his comments to ultra bullish).

All that said, TheStreet.com is well worth the monthly subscription.
The regular columnists are excellent, and there have been a number of well reported pieces on drilling companies, such as FLC and GLM over the past couple of months in that newspaper.
