I know you don't support abuse, but you practically said that you supported the right to abuse. In any case, the surrounding culture surely affects the attitudes of people, and makes abuse more or less likely... It defies logic to deny that there are increasing incidents of abortion due to genetic defect... Commitment is an emotional disposition, the "sense of" the sacredness of maternity. Most woman have no sense of choice in the matter, they are attached as soon as they discover that they are carrying...
