Somewhat OT;
Anybody here follow/own/considering owning YPF, the Argentinian oil giant? Repsol just bought the government's piece for $38, and is making moves that hints it wants more (i.e. the whole enchilada, if it can afford it and pass through some regulatory hoops).

JJC's record on spotting bear mkt lows is not all that great. He seems to do better with the buy the dip type of stock. I can still remember how he put out a general 'sell everything' type of message on TSC last October because both he and his wife were worried near 7400. The Dow then turned within a day or 2 of this and JJC looked very much like a contrary indicator... He's much better when the dipper mentality is still at work in stocks ratching up in bull markets. So, offhand, I take his comments on the OSX with a grain of salt.It's not his bag to be able to pick lows.
