Hi Steve, Our "Little Darlings" do grow up, don't they? It reminds me of one of my family's favorite sayings from my own childhood -

"Children grow up in spite of themselves, not because of themselves!"

Having a receptive audience is certainly important. I think the receptivness is cultivated over time. A friend of mine has kept his son's summer earnings invested in mutual funds and used AIM for them while he was finishing high school and college. Not only is there now a nice nestegg there, but also the AIM histories as well. He plans this summer to turn over the portfolios to his son upon graduation from college and also to give software for keeping it up as one of his graduation presents. His son has long ago read the AIM book and has been following along with his own account's progress. The indoctrination continues!

Best regards, Tom
