Blomberg radio in New York has a commercial playing this weekend that says to be sure to tune in MONDAY to see if the DOW can BREAK 10,000. Yes, I said MONDAY.

Bill I hope they get through the darn 10K in one day. After that they will have to justify somehow why the market should go higher. What will they use to justify 11K? There is no more tricks left in the hat.

To make analogy to a car turning 10k miles, most people like to see it but they don't realize that it makes their car worth less.

Bill, I don't really think much about the market in general, but I suspect we start to crash and burn on Monday afternoon. The public will come out in droves in the morning to try to push the Dow to 10,000, but too many folks are predicting it for it to happen. And valuations support 1000 more than 10,000. <g>
