Arnie, The Year 2000 computer concern is the wild card. If the public starts getting worked up about some disaster scenario, and the problems you mentioned are already hitting the markets, it would be hard to call the bottom. Human nature being what it is, many will realize too late that there MAY be situations and ripple effects that have not been considered. If and when that happens, the perception, not necessarily the reality, will create havoc. Nextel - 100 K shares net distribution on Friday, in a record market. Rob

Arnie: My dad was showing me this pattern in the OEX several weeks ago..Told me it would come to 606 and would not fail..and present a rally to kill the shorts..Well, he was dead on..But, I had to guts to add to my OEX position.. So, I took my profits on the OEX on friday. He says the next rally up will fail..and it will be a bad one..Well, its hard to believe.. So he has a measurement of oEX 650..well thats only 11 points from here with almost 2 weeks to go..So, I think its going to back and fill..Then make that final push in option exp. week..I 'm going to buy puts in the oEX ..and stand aside with my other position.If it does that the S&P down..Then it could set up a nice buy. And cash would be king. Preserving capital is the key. Good luck and I still like Nextel..but was disappointed tthat it didint' make a higher high.. Ed
