"winning debating points at the expense of truth"...well put..that, coupled with the "the world is coming to an end" fear thrust in your face (adopted by his wannabes too) is an effective combination....used, in past times by such luminaries as Jim Jones, and that bald guy in San Diego wearing his nikes in bed during the "transportation" process...(okay, maybe now I am getting bogged down in the hyperbole that I am criticizing...) Burke has a sharp sense...his humor can be funny...he knows how to push buttons, and avoid the danger zones in his arguments....One obvious law is: "Never admit you are wrong about any argument or fact...never give an inch".........I don't believe he believes his own propaganda half the time, but I'm sure his legions do... Nonetheless, debate is healthy (if things are kept in perspective). You certainly have added a lot of value to the debate here, for which, we are all enriched...
