Mike, Another one: Ampex invented the VCR. That is why so many homes have an Ampex machine in them. <g> I know about Japanese plants. I was escorted from one a few years ago. And I was managing money for the co. at the time. <g> I disagree about buying American. The only way to get our companies to learn how to make quality efficiently is to buy from the competition when they are better. And, if our cos. don't learn, let the Japanese set up plants here and employ our workers when our mgt. class can't get its act together. MB
