Dave, I have heard that your broker may be able to do a cashless conversion in which they would convert all of the warrants and then sell enough of the common to pay for it. I am not postive about this, so you may want to check with your broker. I am betting this could only be done using a full service broker, but I could be wrong.

The warrant option can't be exercised after July 18, 1999. An expired warrant is worthless. Up to the expiration date the warrant is tradable like stock. Of course it's value is determined by the value of the common. Yes warrants you intend to execute take a chunk of cash on your part to pull off. Of course if the common is $15.00 it's worth borrowing the money to execute the warrants even if you sold them the next day.

However I don't see XYBR being 15 unless something changes here real quickly.....

I sold half my holdings in XYBR when it went over 5 and bought SYBR see what happens there :)
