I have been told that the boom-da-da-boom at high volume is much less damaging to the ears than the high pitched treble of the 70's rock'n'roll guitar music

No. However, it would be wrong of you to think badly of him had you done the same thing with your '67 Camaro RS and Led Zep in 1969. I have a theory about this loud rap nasty crap music, but I keep it private. I think I'm right, but only time will tell. Hopefully someone will start a new trend in a couple of years, and we shall be able to drive with our windows down again. I'm wondering what the next trend will be. I'm leaning toward just psychotic gutter poetry, like in the 50s, or just a beating noise, like someone banging on a garbage can with a baseball bat, but no rhythm.

I'm hoping for Mozart on a synth, but I can't hold my breath much longer.

I have permanent hearing loss from loud music. Played in a band for way too long, and didn't think it was having a bad effect. I laughed at the lead guitar player who wore earplugs.

Eh? What's that again?
