So this a cam follower engine.

hmmmm.. it has been thought of before. I am surprised they could patent it. Swash plate engines are a dime a dozen.

Fuel use and wear remain to be seen. If it is ok, then 75,000 and a test bed run will tell in about 2 weeks. If it will survive the 24 hour run at full speed then it can be tried out for the major problems. Longevity and economy. I can see some major bearing and wear problems. It would seem that the main drive unit has a large wear surface.
