Frenchy,

10 million? You seem to be trying *real* hard these days. Hope the greed factor hasn't totally clouded your mind. I wouldn't count on any major after market purchases this year. If Wave is stating 3-5 million this year, that means an additional 5-7 million in the aftermarket. I bet you can't give me one aftermarket consumer product with sales numbers even close to that in 9 months.

Marketing efforts for the aftermarket sales better be in full gear to achieve those kind of numbers. I can envision a viable aftermarket product next year. Wave has stated (I believe) that a separate device is/will be developed that plugs into a USB port. Problem is, not many PCs today have those ports yet. Next year they will.

And when they are available, unless these devices are given away as part of a CD/DVD bundling, I can't imagine anyone going out and buying one.

I'm not intentionally playing the devil's advocate here, but I'm trying to keep things in perspective.

So, my obvious question is, how you come up with the 10 million+ number? Is this wishful thinking, hype or otherwise?

Respectfully,

---Slate
