Phil, good post. True enough about the quality of information and the reliability of the source. However, regardless of the forum, it remains imperative to do your own due diligince - unfortunatly the majority of "market players"are unable to draw their own conclusions As long as market volatility allows for momentum to over rule fundamentals, it doesn't behoove anyone to make an effort to learn.

The second element in the equation.....the reliability of the source is also relevent in this discussion. While momentum rules, he who can create momentum also rules....so the need to acquire factual information is discounted.

Use this medium as you like. My experience in SI has provided me with reliable sources of information and some great people to exchange information with (Naturally, I count you in both of these categories). The downside of the SI experience we've already mentioned.

<<<<the idea of having people put up actual
money into some kind of escrow account (maybe held by a company like EBAY). Then
they bet on stock prices AGAINST EACH OTHER instead of the market! I say NAVR
will close lower Monday, someone else says higher. Put up the bucks and place your bet!

Like the idea.
Keep posting it and you may find someone that will
pick that one up. <g>

Phil still negative on PAIR? I am curious if you have any feelings on their Avidia System(now in beta testing)---any chance for it---if you don't know feel free to say I don't know:)---I am thinking of PAIR as an options play rather then an investment,as reward risk side with the option play would be very heavy to the reward side--Good Luck,Max
