Sidney, I can no more prove that Jesus was in India than you can prove that the Bible is based on fact. I do know that there is a long period in his life--twelve years--when nothing at all is known about him. This would be before he started preaching in Galilee, as a very young man.

There was considerable travel between different parts of the world two thousand years ago. There is certainly no reason Jesus could not have gone to India, and it is logical that a man who was very spiritual would go on a journey of seeking the truth, just like people do now.

I do know that several serious books have been written on this subject, however, including ones where ancient Buddhist manuscripts are given as evidence that Jesus was in India. Whether you believe this may have happened or not, certainly there are many parallels between saying attributed to these two prophets. Were they both speaking from a very evolved plane, as prophets do, or did Jesus study Buddhism? Either way, it is intriguing.
