Then lets make them start hiring operators right now! I can't believe companies this large don't do focus group research, etc. to justify inventory and rollout timing. I'm going to have every member of the family calling all next week.

from: Saturday's L.A.Times Business Section "Century Communications, the largest cable operator in Los Angeles has agreed to be acquired by a fast growing Pennsylvania company (ADELPHIA) that is expected to accelerate the roll-out here of advanced services over cable lines." This was a bit of a surprise as Paul Allen's outfit was expected to pick up Century. Good thing Century's being sold; the service sucks and is always rated DEAD-LAST in the so cal area.
