No, of course not. I don't mean to say that anyone strays "because she let herself go." I'm saying a simple, common-sensical thing: sexier, more attractive women tend to have an advantage over their sexually boring sisters both in and out of marriage. Men, not being idiots and being genetically programmed in this direction, prefer hot sex from their partners, and many things go into making it hot for a man, and that includes, among the many, the apppearance of the partner. (I'm saying men; we know it works both ways.)

Please don't make an anecdotal list of attractive women whose extremely powerful husbands, (who happened to have had a world of sexual choices,) were, in spite of their attractiveness, also attracted to other women! Hey, if men had it their way and it didn't cost them nothin', they'd all spread their seed far and wide. The ones who didn't do that in our ancestral environment tended to have fewer descendants. The dominant males who could and did, had scads. Our dear hubbies are their spawn!
