Gary : Ole is not unique in the paranoia!

The whole goldbug philosophy is a psychosis is based on paranoia and mistrust --- whether of the money, itself, or the government or the financial institutions. All goldbug motives are directed towards presumed conspiracies and the intention of the designated evil-doers to defraud the ordinary person out of his hard-earned savings. In their cause against these, goldbugs see themselves as if on a religious crusade against the Devil and his ilk. Whatever happens in the gold market eg gold sales by Central Banks, short selling, forward selling by producers or a fall in the price on the market is viewed only in terms of their psychosis. No other explanation is considered.

Goldbugs entertain no investment other than the possession and accumulation of gold. Stock certificates are viewed as pieces of paper and considered to be the work of the Devil designed to deceive and defraud the ordinary person. Wall Street, and other stock exchanges, are about to experience a 1929 debacle following which the world will enter 1000 years of untold misery and misfortune. Only those who own gold will be spared. The salvation of the world is a return to the gold standard and an increase in the price of gold to $10,000 an ounce.

biz.yahoo.com -I did find this interesting along with the rebellion against the snoopy intel chip..
Searle's post almost said it all.. some people have the strong need to get attention which ever way they can..at whose expense, non importante..I always think of a little kid pulling down his diapers
and seeing if he gets attention or not..or a cat scratching on ones favorite couch and staring at you (but at least little kids are
cute..and cats can be quite funny)
I quite enjoyed yours also..
bobby
(I guess the cookie monster really did scare some people)..actually
the security built into java and javascript for that matter is quite
a pain for programmers but really welcome..)
