I see you have not forgotten you days at Kitco. But you did not mention how the computer people 30 years ago set the stage for the Y2K bug which will raise the price of gold to astronomical levels and result in the adoption of a silver standard in the US.

Not "paranoid" just a phony phfiat phflagellationist" When'll U boyz learn: GOLD IS MONEY. As a male OB-GYN(retired) you believe in pregnancy but you've yourself BEEN pregnant. I and many others like me, into the 10's of thousands, use gold daily as money, but since you haven't, won't, can't or are physiologically unable to "carry gold to full-term" as money , .....Now, Doc, lemme see if I've got this right... using gold as hard currency makes me... is it pregnant or paranoid? Can you step a little closer to the monitor, I'm having a hard time hearin' ya... O/49r And the more people that want it, the easier it is to spend. Speaking of hail mary hopefuls dreaming about gold bringing $10,000 gold per oz??? I watched someone collect $6307.40 IN AMERICAN FIAT per oz for a single ugly in your books nugget just this weekend. That was kind of a shocker, I'll admit...but, I saw it with my own two eyes. Wonder if that old boy who bought it wants two or three more. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeehaw! I snapped a photo of it with my Casio digital QV-11, and uploaded it onto my harddrive as inspiration. Resolution isn't too bad.
