Michael, I believe diversification is your ticket to mediocrity. Think about what your statement suggests. You want me to purchase stock in my sixth best idea. Do you want me to buy my 50th best idea also? You might as well own a ML mutual fund (I think they lost 7% last year).

I never suggested that I didn't like Intel. I just like a few other stocks better.

You seem to be saying you would handle the large tax problem by never allowing yourself to incur large gains.

I stand by my original opinion that you are not qualified to advise people with potentially large tax problems. You seem to have had no experience with the matter.
