I think it might make more sense to divide the company into three parts. Optical-phase change, semiconductor Solar Battery In this way each would be free to pursue their own way and to focus on thier specific technology. Eaqch would nreed to be self financing and the story to be told is strong for each. I think the total market cap achievable by the parts would far exceed the current total. Anybody disagreeing with this (at least on a short term basis) does not understand the markets mechanisms IMO. Of course long term some people will say that this is the worst possible scenario. I disagree but at least long term you could make this case.
