Well, I'm in Rochester, MN, "cornfield USA" and I'm getting
130-140KB/sec downloads (about 1Mbit/sec) in evenings,
and just now (at 11:44am CST) I got 76KB/sec on a quick test
download I just did, about .6 Mbits/sec. That's using my
built-in Mac ethernet jack, PowerMac 7600, which is not
state-of-the-art.

This is via recently-upgraded TCI cable pipes.

Yes ... I didn't intend to be critical ... I was just cracking up
over the thought of that infamous lashup being characterized as
"stable" after a 12 hour experiment. I'm sorry, it's just TOO
incongruous! Yow! Am I AMUSED yet?
