Digital Projection International plc., a leading manufacturer of high brightness, high resolution digital projection products:

Looks like resolution for this equipment is 1024 x 768 pixels. Check out the weight (200 lbs) and power requirements (3000 watts). To be able to project a high-quality image comparable to film would require much higher resolution, I would imagine. 1024 x 768 pixels projected onto a 20 ft high typical movie screen just wouldn't look too crisp (or am I misinterpreting something?). Wouldn't higher resolutions require more digital storage space?
